The Stone Roses Announce First NYC Show In 21 Years
The Stone Roses have announced their first tour date in New York City in 21 years. The last time the Manchester band was in the city was on May 22, 1995 at Webster Hall. This time, they’ll upgrade the venue just a bit to Madison Square Garden. The reunited Roses have been touring the world sporadically since 2012, but their only stop in the U.S. was for Coachella in 2013. The show will take place on 6/30 and Rodrigo y Gabriela will open. Tickets will go on sale Friday (2/26).
They’re also playing some UK dates later this year.
