Baauer – “Kung Fu” (Feat. Pusha T & Future)
Next month, “Harlem Shake” producer Baauer releases Aa, his first-ever album, and it’ll have a lot of collaborations. We’ve already heard “Day Ones,” which Baauer made with Novelist and Leikeli47. And Baauer’s new single “Kung Fu” is a hard, skeletal beat with appearances from two big stars: Future and Pusha T. Future’s chorus is halfway to being dancehall, and Pusha attacks the track the way he’s been attacking everything lately. He also uses the phrase “the wide world of snort,” which I heartily enjoyed. As Pitchfork points out, Zane Lowe debuted the track on Beats 1 Radio today, and you can hear it below.
Aa is out 3/18 on LuckyMe.
