MPC maestro AraabMuzik, the man behind many of the Diplomats’ hits among many other hip-hop tracks, was shot during an attempted robbery last night and rushed to the hospital. A spokesman for the producer (born Abraham Orellana) said that he is alive and well according to the Associated Press. The spokesman also provided some details on last night’s incident: “He was out in his neighborhood with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime.” Orellana’s manager and Dipset member Duke Da God posted to Twitter to ask for support.
