It's nice to get a little remix reciprocation going on a Thursday afternoon, especially when Flume and Disclosure are involved. Three years ago, Flume remixed Disclosure's "You & Me" and today, Disclosure return the favor by remixing Flume's "Never Be Like You." Disclosure speed up the tempo a bit, replacing the stuttering synths and heavy drums of the original to lighten the song and make it more danceable with strong '80s dance/borderline-vogue vibes. Disclosure only lift the vocals from the hook and stammer it repeatedly, allowing the song's original darkness to still shade the track. This is a nice flip here. Check it out.
