Richmond, Virginia doom metallers Cough have been quiet ever since they released a celebrated split LP with fellow Richmond band Windhand in 2013, and it's been more than five years since they released Ritual Abuse, their last full-length. But later this year, they'll release Still They Pray, which they recorded with producer Jus Osborn, from the legendary doom band Electric Wizard. First single "The Wounding Hours" is a slow, gooey trudge that sounds like it just bubbled up from a hot swamp somewhere. Listen to it below.
