It Looks Like A Biggie Hologram Is Imminent
Four years after the Tupac hologram famously came to Coachella, we’ve seen plans for hologram versions of half the dead musical legends out there. And now, it appears that the Notorious B.I.G.’s, Tupac’s great rival and contemporary, is about to get a hologram of his own. Billboard reports that the Los Angeles company ARHT Media has the rights to make a hologram in Biggie’s form, and it’s working on one now.
According to the article, Biggie’s estate and ARHT are working together to make something called “humagram” of Biggie. Faith Evans, Biggie’s widow, is planning an album of duets called The King & I, and a Biggie hologram could turn up in some of her videos. And the hologram would also work onstage. While we don’t yet have any details on a Biggie hologram tour, Puff Daddy is planning a pair of huge Bad Boy reunion shows on Biggie’s birthday weekend in Brooklyn next month. If a hologram is ready in time, that seems like a pretty obvious place to debut it.
