case/lang/veirs – “Honey And Smoke”
The singer-songwriters Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs spent two and a half years writing and recording songs together in Neko Case’s Portland house, and those songs are about to see the light of day. The trio, called case/lang/veirs, will release their self-titled debut album this summer. We’ve posted the early tracks “Atomic Number” and “Best Kept Secret,” and now they’ve shared the slick, glossy “Honey And Smoke,” which owes something to mid-century pop standards. Check it out below.
