Watch James Corden, Stephen Colbert, & Jimmy Kimmel Turn Beyoncé’s Lemonade Into Comedy Bits
Beyoncé’s Lemonade came out this weekend and dominated conversations to the point where late-night hosts had to reorganize their shows around it. And James Corden, of all people, really stepped up. On last night’s episode of his Late Late Show, Corden turned his monologue into a straight-up Lemonade parody. Corden intoned played-out monologue jokes in a muttered Bey impression, making it a spoken-word voice-over to shots of Corden cross-dressing, smashing TVs with a baseball bat and striking all the poses Beyoncé struck in the actual Lemonade short film. There’s also a “Jimmy with the good hair” joke. And speaking of late-night Jimmies, Jimmy Kimmel did a bit where he used emojis to explain the whole Beyoncé/Jay Z/Rachel Roy situation. And Stephen Colbert also parodied the baseball-bat “Hold Up” video and did nearly six minutes on the story behind the album. Watch all those sketches below.
What, you thought the Lemonade content was going to stop after yesterday? It’s never going to stop.
