Popcaan has reportedly been arrested in Antigua following an on-stage altercation with police officers during his set at the Antigua Trades And Labour Union rally, where he was the featured performer. The Antigua Observer reports that the dancehall artist told police officers not to handle the crowd so roughly after several members of the audience were forcibly removed from the stage, and that he later directed a diss song towards the officers at the event.

Video taken during the performance shows Popcaan getting into an argument with police officers at the venue, and video from after he was allegedly arrested shows him being escorted into a police vehicle.
