The Stone Roses – “All For One”
Earlier this week, the Stone Roses teased something when posters and billboards bearing their iconic lemon logo went up all over Manchester, their hometown. Today, we get to hear that something. That something is a new song called “All For One,” the first new Stone Roses song in 22 years. It’s a starry-eyed psychedelic jangle with some old-school blues-rock swagger to it and a serious John Squire solo, and it sounds very much like something the Stone Roses could’ve recorded decades ago. That is a very, very good thing. Check it out below.
