Two people are dead and 57 were hospitalized following the Tampa-based, EDM-centric Sunset Music Festival, which took place over Memorial Day Weekend. According to the Tampa Bay Times, the two deaths are suspected to be “related to the Sunset Music Festival,” though the cause of death is still under investigation — one was hospitalized on Saturday and passed away the next day, and the other was hospitalized Sunday and died on Monday. “Obviously, that type of music tends to attract a certain type of fan that engages in certain types of drugs,” Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn told the paper. Headliners at the fest included Jack Ü, the Chainsmokers, Hardwell, and Galantis.
