Watch Skrillex & Chance The Rapper Remix Stephen Colbert’s Monologue, Perform With Hundred Waters
Earlier this year, Florida pop impressionists Hundred Waters released a new version of their track “Show Me Love” that featured an absolutely nuts lineup of contributors, including Skrillex and Chance The Rapper. And last night on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Hundred Waters performed, and Skrillex and Chance showed up to help, as did a string section and a few backup singers. It’s a giddy, fired-up performance of a great song. And, as ever, any chance you get to see Chance performing on TV, you take that opportunity.
While they were on the show together, Skrillex and Chance helped out with a comedy bit, remixing Colbert’s monologue for him. Chance’s bars during that remix, if I had to guess, are about half-improvised, or at least written 10 minutes before he walked onstage. Also, all three of them did D-Generation X crotch chops for some reason. Watch both the performance and the monologue below.
