Parcels – “Anotherclock”
Australia’s Parcels make slick, funky synth pop morsels that melt in your ears. They’ve dropped a couple irresistibly groovy singles over the last year or so including “Herefore,” and they continue to impress with their latest single “Anotherclock.” A stanky bass line, cosmic sustained synths, and cleverly syncopated drums are interjected by playful piano flourishes, elevating silky smooth harmonies and melodies. By the time the dangerously catchy hook comes you’re already knee-deep in more grooves than you’ll know what to do with. Enough with the singles. I need a full-length offering or at least an EP from this outfit like yesterday. Listen.
“Anotherclock” is out 6/24 via Kitsuné.
