Gucci Mane – “First Day Out The Feds” Video
Things are different for gangster rappers nowadays. Jail can snuff out a career just as quickly as revitalize it, but Gucci Mane is a shining example of how to execute a comeback after a lengthy bid. Dude has slew of songs out already, and a clothing line and reality show in the works. By now you know that he was in the studio recording “First Day Out The Feds” less than 24 hours after being released, and today he’s given the song the visual treatment.
If this clip is any indication of what his reality show will be like (hopefully in addition to lots of TV commentary), it will be must-see TV. He welcomes the clone rumors early on in the visuals by showing four of himself in a room, flaunts his monitoring anklet in some Jordans like Jake Shuttlesworth in He Got Game, and throws money around nonchalantly like confetti on a MTV Cribs-esque tour of his home. This clip will actually have you believing the prison system works. Watch.
Gucci has been teasing something called Everybody Looking for 7/22 release, but at this rate, surely he’s got at least two or three full-lengths on the way.
