Watch Guns N’ Roses Reunite With Drummer Steven Adler In Cincinnati
The current touring Guns N’ Roses quasi-reunion isn’t really a full reunion, even if classic-era members Slash and Duff McKagan are on board. It’s still missing drummer Steven Adler and guitarist Izzy Stradlin, the other two guys who helped make Appetite For Destruction. But last night, as the band played Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium, the band became a little more whole. As Billboard reports, Adler rejoined the band for two Appetite deep cuts, “Out Ta Get Me” and “My Michelle.” Adler has had his demons, but he’s one of the great all-time rock drummers, and he looked healthy last night — healthier, perhaps, than Axl Rose himself. And below, you can watch fan-made footage of his reunion with the band.
This was Alder’s first time performing with Guns N’ Roses since he was kicked out of the band in 1990 because of a heroin addiction.
