The inexplicable success of the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic TV show (partially among middle-aged internet men) has led to a theatrical film, which will be released next year. As Pitchfork points out, it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con today that Sia will voice a character in the film named Songbird Serenade, who is described as a "pony popstar" and is adorned with the signature Sia hairstyle. Sia will also contribute to original songs to the movie's soundtrack. Watch a teaser video for the character below.
