D.A.R.K., the new supergroup that features Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O’Riordan and former Smiths bassist Andy Rourke, are getting ready to release their debut album Science Agrees soon, and we’ve already heard the early track “Loosen The Noose.” Today, they shared a streamlined, direct synth-rocker called “Gunfight.” It’s a whole lot more crisp and efficient than any Cranberries song I can remember, even if O’Riordan does get a chance to do some of her eee-yaaaaa-heeeeey howling at the end. Science Agrees is out 9/9 on Jazz Stone Limited/Cooking Vinyl. It was supposed to be out in May, but they had to let it linger.
