Judge Denies Inheritance Claims From 29 Professed Prince Heirs
Prince left no will when he passed away according his sister Tyka Nelson. So opportunists started to come out of the woodwork within weeks of Prince’s death, hoping to claim whatever piece of his $100 million dollar estate they could. Yesterday, Minnesota judge Kevin Eide dismissed claims from 29 would-be heirs to the Prince estate, according to Reuters. Court records revealed that Eide also ordered the six people Tyka determined to be Prince’s half-siblings or other relatives to undergo genetic testing to confirm their inheritance claims. It’s already unfortunate that Prince died the way he did, but for a judge to have to rule on this shamelessness in the aftermath makes it even more disheartening. People really suck sometimes.
