The Mars Volta/At The Drive-In co-leader Omar Rodríguez-López has been making good on his recent promise to release two new albums a month until the end of the year. The third album in the series, Blind Worms, Pious Swine, came out yesterday, and somewhat surprisingly, it features a cover of Ellie Goulding's 2011 breakout hit "Lights." His version infuses the synthed-out pop anthem with a new undercurrent of buzzing menace, and you can hear it below.
