It had to happen eventually. Blur's "Song 2" is a perfect stadium anthem, a fired-up blast of utter, glorious meaninglessness. It's great the way it is, but it has no bass drops. How is a song supposed to get people excited anymore with no bass drops? Fortunately, the French dance producer Madeon is here to help. He's remixed "Song 2," throwing all sorts of globby festival-dance pyrotechnics on it. And his new remix of the track appears in a new commercial for the FIFA '17 video game, which looks fun and which will probably look more fun for those of you who give a single flying fuck about soccer.
