Eddie Vedder Stops Song To Eject Chicago Fan
Not sure why people won’t just behave themselves at rock concerts recently, but yet another has been ejected from a show after doing something questionable in the crowd. During Pearl Jam’s show at Wrigley Field in Chicago this past Monday, Eddie Vedder stopped the band mid-song and ejected a fan that was apparently sticking his finger in a woman’s face. You can hear him say on the fan footage below: “Hey mister, get your finger out of that woman’s face mother–.” But a YouTube commenter who claims he was at the show and saw everything go down says, “The guy was trying to put his finger down her throat to help her throw up.” So it seems it wasn’t a typical finger-pointing argument; the man’s finger may have actually been inside the woman’s face. Another fan at the show claims the woman had passed out. It’s unclear exactly what happened, but any of the scenarios described would probably be pretty disturbing to see onstage if you didn’t know what was going on. Watch fan footage of the incident below.
This was one hell of a weird show. It’s the same one where Dennis Rodman got onstage and picked up Vedder like a baby for some reason. ¯\_(?)_/¯
