Wilco – “Someone To Lose”
Wilco recently announced they would be following up last year’s suprise LP, Star Wars, with a new album called Shmilco. We’ve heard “If I Ever Was A Child” and “Locator,” and today the band shares “Someone To Lose.” It’s loose, jangly jam, with Jeff Tweedy singing some heartfelt laments about how difficult it is to temper what you feel for someone so you don’t scare them away or ruin how they see love and affection. The Wilco gentlemen are three for three in my book. Listen.
Schmilco is out 9/9 via dBpm (with a special early vinyl release 9/6) and is available for pre-order in various bundles here.
