Earlier this summer, Bat For Lashes released the doomed-romance concept album The Bride, building a whole narrative around a woman whose betrothed dies in a car crash on the way to get married. The album has already yielded videos for “In God’s House” and “Sunday Love,” and today, we get a new one for the slow, atmospheric “Joe’s Dream.” Natasha Khan is the only person who appears onscreen in the video; we see her, looking glamorous as all hell, singing and playing electric guitar on what looks like a church pulpit. Not too many people could hold the camera’s attention for five and a half minutes, but Khan is one of them. Check out the video below.
