On a recent episode of Ellen, Katy Perry surprised Orlando shooting survivor Tony Marrero, who was on the show to recount his story and mentioned that Perry's Olympics single "Rise" was especially empowering to him during his recovery period. Perry came out and had an emotional interaction with him, and then offered to pay his tuition for his first year at film school. Watch below.
