Lou Barlow – “In Your Eyes” (Peter Gabriel Cover)

Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" will forever be one of the most evocative love songs for one very specific reason: It's the song John Cusack plays when he holds up that bigass boombox to Ione Skye's window in the 1989 drama Say Anything. That scene is iconic, and every time I hear that song, I cannot un-see it. (TBVH I recently teared up when it started playing in a bar, but that's beside the point.) Lou Barlow uploaded his cover of the song to YouTube today accompanied by home videos and tour footage. You can listen to Barlow's stripped-down rendition below.
