One of the stranger, more memorable songs from M83's 2016 album Junk is "Go!," on which Anthony Gonzalez gets help from rising pop force Mai Lan and old-school wheedly-guitar virtuoso Steve Vai. And now Animal Collective, M83's peers in festival psychedelia, have contributed a brand-new version of the song. Specifically, the part-time AC member Deakin reworked the song, turning it into restrained and bubbly dub. The remix will appear on a 12" single version of "Go!," which will also feature an 8-bit version of "Go!" and a new song called "Altered Love." Listen to the remix below.

Junk is out now on Mute, and the "Go!" 12" single is out 12/16. Meanwhile, Deakin's debut solo album Sleep Cycle is out now and available on Deakin's Bandcamp.
