Trent Reznor Shares New Music That Is Not Nine Inch Nails, But Hints That That’s Coming Soon

Trent Reznor has shared a snippet of new music from his upcoming score for Leonardo DiCaprio's climate change documentary Before The Flood. This specific snippet was made with his longtime collaborator Atticus Ross, but he composed the soundtrack alongside Mogwai and Gustavo Santolalla, as well. In the post previewing the new composition, he made sure to mention that "THIS IS NOT NEW NINE INCH NAILS!" because earlier today he responded to an Instagram commenter asking if new music was coming this year with "2016 is not over yet." Here is an excerpt of the new song “a minute to breathe” that Atticus and I wrote for the upcoming film Before the Flood, which airs globally in 171 countries and 45 languages on the National Geographic Channel starting October 30. The full soundtrack will be out soon and is a collaboration between us, Gustavo Santaolalla and Mogwai.
