The National, Katy Perry, & More To Play Shows For Hillary Clinton Campaign
We’re only a few weeks away from the Presidential election, and the Hillary Clinton campaign has just announced a performance series called Love Trumps Hate that will take place in several battleground states, as Variety reports. So far, the artists pegged to perform include the National (11/2 in Cincinnati), Katy Perry (11/5 in Philadelphia), Jennifer Lopez (10/29 in Miami), and Jon Bon Jovi (10/27 in Pittsburgh and 11/5 in Tampa), with more expected to be announced in the coming days. According to the campaign, the goal of the shows is to “energize our supporters and encourage them to turn out to vote on Election Day or to take advantage of early voting options in their states.”
