Common's new LP, Black America Again, will be out in just two short weeks, and last night we heard a fresh single titled "Home," the follow-up to the anti-police brutality title track, which features Stevie Wonder. Neo-soul singer Bilal guested on "Home," and he also appears on this new single "Joy And Peace." Common premiered the song today on The FADER, and the magazine recently interviewed him about the new project. The rapper described Black America Again as a means through which to change a tired narrative:
With our history of pain here, we can write a new story — we can change the narrative now... Until this country distributes equality across the board, we'll never be as great as we can be.
