Trump Supporter Joey Kramer Says Bandmates’ Obama Photo “Not Representative Of Aerosmith”
Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry ended up hanging out with Obama on Air Force One the other day after they ran into each other at a Florida airport. They took some pictures together, and Perry seemed pretty excited about getting to meet the President. “He’s pretty amazing, you know?” Perry said the next day. “Being a Republican, I still have a lot of respect for the office, you know? Sitting there with the Commander-in-Chief and leader of the free world…it was really cool.”
But not all of Aerosmith thought it was really cool, apparently. As Blabbermouth points out, drummer Joey Kramer replied to a photo of Perry, Tyler, and Obama tweeted from the Aerosmith account by angrily stating that this particular hangout was “not representative of Aerosmith.”
This is not representative of @Aerosmith ! https://t.co/wR43fvwTI8

Kramer then responded to fans who were upset by his Obama-hate:
Everyone has their right to their opinion it's called democracy & I support that https://t.co/sLlnDSNRWC

I'm not saying who I support! I don't support anyone speaking for me !

Exactly ! This is why I had a problem w the pic on @Aerosmith I don't want to be included in political banter https://t.co/b3501TutIL

Although Kramer is “not saying who I support,” he has in recent weeks retweeted several messages in support of Donald Trump and against Obamacare. He also attended the Republican presidential debate in August 2015 as a personal guest of Trump’s (along with Steven Tyler, who later told Trump to stop using “Dream On” at campaign events).
