Stream Daniel Bachman’s New Self-Titled Album
The Fredricksburg, Virginia guitar virtuoso Daniel Bachman is just 26, but he’s already amassed quite a discography of lovely, meditative instrumental albums. Last year, he gave us the stunning River, and he might’ve topped it with the self-titled album that he’ll release next week. Bachman’s new album is heavier on spaced-out drones than previous records, but it has the same sense of time-suspended beauty as his older work. Bachman is one of the leading lights of a sort of American primitivism that’s been thriving recently, and you can hear why if you stream the album below, via NPR.
Daniel Bachman is out 11/11 on Three Lobed Recordings.
