Insomniac Events and C3 Presents, the promoters behind Electric Daisy Carnival and Austin City Limits, announced a new joint festival called Middlelands back in September. We already knew that it was going to be held at the Texas Renaissance Festival Fair Grounds in Todd Mission, TX, a 60-acre Renaissance theme park, but now it's official -- it's actually an EDM Ren Faire. In addition to music, the three-day event, billed as "three days of music and Renaissance-themed activities," will feature medieval architecture, interactive art installations, local vendors hawking medieval-style wares, and presumably lots of jousting. It'll run next year from 5/5-7, and Game Of Thrones star/successful house music DJ Kristian Nairn, aka Hodor, stars in the fest's teaser video, which you can watch below.
