A few months ago, jittery California punks Joyce Manor released their very good new album Cody, one of the finer pieces of raw and amped-up pop-punk you’re likely to hear this year. They’ve already made fun, high-concept videos for the album tracks “Fake I.D.” and “Last You Heard Of Me.” There’s nothing high-concept about their new video, for “Eighteen,” though it is pretty fun. It’s a crude, slapped-together life-on-the-road video, full of images of the band members rocking large and sweaty crowds, collapsing in cheap hotel rooms, and consuming alcoholic beverages with friends. I’m guessing they filmed the whole thing on their phones. Check it out below.
