The hip-hop-pioneering label Sugarhill Records closed down in 1986, and the last ties to their legacy died when founder Sylvia Robinson and her son, Joseph Robinson Jr., died in 2011 and 2015 respectively, but the remaining members of the Robinson family are hoping to cash in on the old label and reignite the brand in a new reality series called First Family Of Hip Hop. It premieres on Bravo on 1/15, and the first trailer for the show has been released. You can watch it via Billboard below.
