Last week, it was announced that 16-year-old opera singer Jackie Evancho, who placed second on the 2010 season of America's Got Talent, would be performing at Donald Trump's inauguration, primarily because no one else wanted any part of that shit. It was rumored that Italian adult-contempo opera star Andrea Bocelli would be joining her, but now it looks like Carmela Soprano's favorite singer will be sitting this one out. While some sources are reporting that Bocelli backed out after severe backlash from his fans, Thomas J. Barrack Jr., the chairman of Trump's inaugural committee, told CNBC today that Trump politely declined Bocelli's own invitation to perform as a friend of Trump's.

Whatever the case may be, this inauguration's starpower is now even more underwhelming.
