Watch Creeper Lagoon Reunite At San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival
Creeper Lagoon’s core lineup broke up shortly after the release of 2001’s Take Back The Universe And Give Me Yesterday (though frontman Sharky Laguana would go on to perform under the name for a couple years after that), but the Bay Area band reunited for the first time in 15 years over the weekend at San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival, which the band played multiple times during their ’90s heyday when they were signed to Dreamworks Records. As The Mercury News reports, during the two shows that they played as part of the festival’s 25th anniversary celebration, they ran through their old hits and even covered Guided By Voices’ “Motor Away” and the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind?” during their sets. Watch them play “Dear Deadly” in full and clips of a few other tracks below.
