Green Day, Sting, RHCP, & Dropkick Murphys Cover “Johnny B. Goode” In Tribute To Chuck Berry
The legendary Chuck Berry died over the weekend. Pretty much every band today owes a debt to Chuck Berry — the dude more or less invented rock and roll music — and a whole bunch of people decided to pay tribute by covering “Johnny B. Goode,” perhaps his most iconic song. Everyone from Green Day to Sting to Red Hot Chili Peppers to Dropkick Murphys performed it live in concert over the past couple of days, and you can watch some of their performances below.
