London's Section Boyz aren't a grime crew, exactly. Instead, they split the difference between the hectic, erratic energy of grime and a relatively slow-rolling and discernible straight-up rap sound. That, combined with the fact that Drake has shown up on London stages with them a couple of times, makes them a good entry point for non-Brits who are still a little skeptical of this whole grime thing. And as The FADER points out, Section Boyz have just released Soundcheck, a massive new 19-track mixtape. On first listen, it's just as spluttery and energetic as you'd hope. Check it out below.
