The 19-year-old Florida rapper Kodak Black, who just released his new album Painting Pictures, is currently in jail because of a probation violation in Florida. He’s also facing charges of sexual battery in South Carolina over an alleged incident with a fan in February of last year. And now, as The FADER points out, the Miami Sun-Sentinel reports that Kodak has once again been accused of assaulting a woman.

This one took place this past February at the Miami strip club Club Climaxx. This time, Kodak allegedly attacked a 34-year-old bartender at the club, punching her and kicking her. The bartender reported the attack to police, but she hasn’t filed charges, though a civil lawsuit is possible. Instead, the attack, considered a misdemeanor battery, is being considered an open case, with a detective assigned to it. And the allegation has been added to the list of reasons that Kodak violated the terms of his house arrest.

In this case, as in all the others, Kodak is innocent until proven guilty. Still, speaking personally, it’s getting harder and harder to look at these constant and troubling allegations and to listen to Kodak’s music without feeling queasy about it.
