Colin Stetson has his hand in a bunch of different projects at any given time, and the latest that the saxophonist is involved in is Ex Eye, an instrumental four-piece that pull from metal but seem to prefer the term “post-everything.” They’re releasing their self-titled album later this month, and today they’ve unveiled the second single from the album following “Opposition​/​Perihelion; The Coil.” Album opener “Xenolith; The Anvil” is a cacophonous and satisfying smash of noise, and you can listen to it alongside a visceral and shadowy live performance video below.
