Sylvan Esso – “The Glow” Video
Earlier this year, Sylvan Esso released their sophomore album, What Now, and today they’ve shared a video for “The Glow,” a track from it that was (at least partially) inspired by the Microphones album of the same name. (Choice lyrics: “Walking back from the show with my heart in echo/ So alone in the snow and Phil singing just to me only.”) The video, which was directed by Elise Tyler, follows a group of people as they make out and fuck around Brooklyn, intercut with shots of Amelia Meath dancing down the street in chunky boots, and it all culminates in a fight during the band’s show at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg. Check it out below.
What Now is out now via Loma Vista Recordings.
