Berkeley Names Today “Chaz Bundick Day” In Honor Of Toro Y Moi

Happy Chaz Bundick Day, California! Pitchfork reports that the city of Berkeley has named today Chaz Bundick Day in honor of the Toro Y Moi mastermind's contributions to arts and music. Mayor Jesse Arreguin made the official proclamation during the Berkeley City Council meeting tonight. Although Bundick, who recently announced that he was changing his name to Chaz Bear, grew up in South Carolina, he moved to Berkeley several years ago and has lived there ever since.
