Stream Cornelius Mellow Waves
Last year, Cornelius went through something of a resurgence when his landmark 1997 album, Fantasma, was reissued, and Keigo Oyamada is taking advantage of that renewed interest with his first new album in 11 years, Mellow Waves. It’s a soft and lovely and meditative collection of songs that drift by like the tide. It was released in his native Japan last month and is being released in the rest of the world next week. So far, he’s shared early tracks “If You’re Here” and “Sometime / Someplace,” and today the entire album is streaming in full. You can listen to it over on NPR and while you listen, check out our interview with Cornelius about his return.
Mellow Waves is out now in Japan via WMG and 7/21 worldwide via Rostrum Records.
