Last fall, punk-pop powerhouse Chris Farren released his most recent album, Can’t Die, and today he’s returned with a new track called “Be There 4 Ya.” It’s a breezy tune on the surface, but Farren’s singing about some less-than-breezy stuff, namely the crippling anxiety that comes with depression and how hard it can be even when you have someone there to support you: “One day I will be there for ya/ I apologize you’re always waiting for me,” Farren sings on the hook. “I’m swimming towards the surface/ I can almost see the sky.” Listen below.
