Watch Liam Gallagher Make His American Solo TV Debut On Colbert
After years leading Oasis and Beady Eye, Liam Gallagher has followed his brother Noel’s lead and gone solo. That means we’re getting a whole lot of deeply entertaining interviews, and it also means that Gallagher is back on TV, singing songs, for the first time in a while. Last night, for the first time as a solo artist, Gallagher put in an appearance on American late-night TV. He was the musical guest on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show, and he sang a stately version of his new single “For What It’s Worth.” And as an online bonus, he also did the bluesy honker “Wall Of Glass.” He wore a cool raincoat and did the thing where he basically doesn’t move at all. Watch both performances below.
Gallagher’s solo debut As You Were is out 10/6 on Warner Bros.
