Save Stereogum, the fundraising campaign to keep this site online and thriving, has been a smashing success. With the donation deadline looming this Friday, Aug. 28 at 11:59PM PT, we’re nearly $100,000 past our initial goal. Thanks are in order for our many generous supporters as well as the impressive list of artists who are contributing to our exclusive ’00s covers comp and VIP-backer Zoom party.

Ahead of the campaign’s imminent conclusion, the Stereogum staff will be doing an AMA at the indieheads subreddit this Friday at 12PM ET/9AM PT. Log on and ask us your pressing questions about Stereogum and the Stereogum extended universe. Perhaps we’ll shed light on our editorial process, tease features from our forthcoming redesign, or even break down the differences between disgruntled Shinedown and Katy Perry fans. If it’s anything like our previous indieheads AMA — or the vibrant conversations that unfold in our comments section every day — it will be a lot of fun.
