Watch Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly Rap Step Brothers‘ “Boats ‘N Hoes” With Snoop Dogg In LA
In the 2008 film Step Brothers, one of the greatest comedies of the 21st century, there’s a scene where Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly interrupt a family dinner party to announce the formation of their new company Prestige Worldwide. In that moment, they also debut the music video for their blissfully incompetent rap single “Boats ‘N Hoes.” On Saturday night, Ferrell and Reilly performed that song together at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and they had help from Snoop Dogg, Ferrell’s co-star in Old School, Starsky & Hutch, and the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber.
The occasion was Will Ferrell’s second Best Night Of Your Life, an all-star event to raise money for Cancer For College. The Pearl Jam side project Mike McCready And The Casual Acquaintances served as the house band, and the show featured performances from St. Vincent, Beck, Jack Black, Fred Armisen, and Keanu Reeves’ band Dogstar, among others. Here’s Ferrell and John C. Reilly doing “Boats ‘N Hoes” and “Gin And Juice” with Snoop Dogg:
