Earlier this year, Mark McGuire unveiled the eight-minute electronic tune “Soaring.” Today, the former Emeralds guitarist released a four-track EP titled Anhedonia.

Despite its despondent name, Anhedonia is mesmeric and bright. The acoustic, synthy serenades flow swiftly, easy to get lost in. It was recorded in 2020; hear it below.
