In the case of Fine Young Cannibals fan Jeppe Laursen, they perform a catchy new wave song ("Lucky Boy") on Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009, complete with backing vocals from three women on neon-lit polls ("I just wanna stay here and talk to you," repeat), lots of hammy interaction with the camera (note his John Madden hands in that above screengrab), and a carefully placed cowbell.
