Twin Shadow's Forget LP pushed 1K units in its first week, not a bad showing for George Lewis Jr.'s Terrible Records-pushed debut LP. "A Place We Like" is a value-added bonus for those grabbing Forget's limited-edition version, written by CMJ heroes/fellow Brooklynites Hooray For Earth, performed by both artists. Danceable, electronic accents to a live band track, slightly less schizo latter-day of Montreal feel -- sounds about right coming from these two, and a nice commemorative MP3 for two BKLYN bands having a very good year.
